I'm a Sky VIP and they have an offer on at the moment of 10gb for £5

Chances are the terms are that this is for new/additional SIM's and you cannot apply this to an existing SIM.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

You could try calling Sky on 150 to see if they will apply it to the sim you currently have.
