Changing data plan

Hi all,

needing a bit of a steer please.

I tried to change my data plan to a more favourable one.

Sky now says they are sending me a new sim.

I don't need a new sim and certainly don't want to change my number.

have I done something wrong? I thought my current sim would be automatically updated.

thanks.

Increasing the data plan happens almost immediately.

Decreasing the data plan happens at the start of your next billing period.

Re: Changing data plan

Thanks for the prompt reply.

that's what I innocently thought would happen!

but it hasn't.  My data plan remains unchanged. The only option I've got in MySky is 'activate my sim' which is asking for a PAC code to activate my new sim and keep my number. And the emails insist they are sending me a new SIM card.

that's not going to happen. What now?

I haven't got a link for a cancellation that I can see . If I do not activate the new sim they are sending me will it drop off the system?

Thanks . JS

If you don't activate the sim they are sending you then it will be cancelled so you will not be charged for it.
