Can’t transfer my old number

I've recently purchased a new iPhone and it came with a new sim. I previously had a different sim with sky however that was under my family's name and account. I've received my PAC for the old number however when I try to enter my pac number and try to transfer the old mobile phone number across it comes up with an error.

It is not possible to use a Pac code to move a Sky number from one sim to another so you have two options, either use the sim as it is with it being attached to this other account or activate and use the new sim which will mean a new number but it will be on your account.

 

The only other possible way around this would be to use a Pac code to transfer that number to a different PAYG network, then use another Pac to transfer it to your new Sky sim.
