Can’t get security code to covert to eSIM

Hello!

 

just got a new Sky SIM card, and activated it. I'm trying to follow the process to convert it to eSIM to install on my iPad, but when I try to get the security code sent to any of the numbers in my account, it doesn't work. I get a "Sending failed" message in red.

 

Anyone know to to get around this?

@Bernatdo I get that error message when trying to do same but spoken to Mobile department earlier today they said know about issues but try again in 3-5 days time but I've been trying since Tuesday

Thanks for getting back.

 

yeah, I've been trying for 4 days now. In the first day, I didn't get an error message but the text never came. I tried 3 times, each time it said the text was sent, but nothing. After one hour or so I got 3 texts with 3 codes - all expired - and only error messages since.

 

i'm a bit flabbergasted that my mobile provider cannot send a text.

Hi, @Crashcox,

 

I just kept trying for another few days and yesterday managed to do it. Don't know if relevant or just coincidence, but the other times I tried it was either 6-7am or late like 11pm. This time around that worked it was 5.30pm-ish.
