Can i add a second network ?

After some advice please.

In short i came to Sky mobile back in Sep 25 with the launch of the iPhone 17. I have the pro max. Whenever I go anywhere where a large congregation of people are (football matches for instance) although I have full signal bars and 5g showing, nothing works. No data or calls. Having been on EE before I moved to Sky, I can categorically say Sky (O2) is terrible. People around me on 3 or Vodafone have full signal and data.

My first question, is my contract for the handset only. Would i be able to keep the handset on the contract It’s on, but use another network such a Vodafone for my network poring my number from sky over.

Or,  would i be able to run a Vodafone E sim alongside my sky E sim and switch between the 2 when necessary?.

Appreciate any guidance.....

@T0M+0

Your sim contract with Sky is for 12 months so once you have been over that you are free to either cancel the number of port it to another network if you want. If your sim is a dual sim one then you should be able to use a sim in it from another network, so have a look to see if it has to be an esim if your Sky one is a physical sim.
