Can I switch

Hi everyone, I can't seem to find an answer online or here on others posts.

im currently with sky, I've like to pay off my current plan which is near its end and get a new deal, (not upgrade) as if i upgraded I don't seem to get the same deal. 
but i also want to keep my number.

so I was wondering if its possible to pay off my current plan, and switch my number to a completely new deal?  I dont seem to see an option to do so.

You can pay off your current device and to so you would need to call Sky on 150 to do this.

As for a new deal you could try asking Sky at the same time but if they say no the only way around it would be to order a new sim with a new data package, then get a pac code to transfer you current number to a PAYG network then transfer it back to your new Sky sim.

That is correct.  Any new dataplan deal has a new phone number.

You cannot transfer numbers within a network.

However, there is a protracted workaround but requires transfer the number out of the network and back in again to the new SIM.
