Bying an e- sim for using abroad

Hello, I am travelling to Morocco. I intend buying an e-sim. Will this work with my Samsung S21 bought from Sky. Do I need to have my phone  unlocked? Can I phone home with an e-sim or does it only do local calls.  I am a novice at this so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi @Szxszx  all phones supplied by sky are unlocked and can use any network sim. Using a sky esim will be expensive in Morocco. You may be able to get a local sim/esim to use but that will have cost implications. I can't say for certain as I haven't travelled there but I would guess it will be able to call the UK but again may be expensive.
