What happens if I. Can't afford to pay my mobile phone bill on the day it says do you get extra days are is your phone cut off straight away as I tried changing payment date but not letting me

If you pay by a direct debit and Sky can't take the payment then they would try again 10 days later and only should this also fail would your phone be restricted. If you pay by any other way and the bill isn't paid then the restriction could be in place within a few days.
