Bill increase

Why is my bill going up from £6 per month to £7.50pm when I'm only getting 3GB of data

I've looked elsewhere and I can get a lot more for my money. Should I leave or ask sky for a discount??

Yup, Sky announced an increase to SIM prices.  (You should have received a mail about this)

Yes and yes.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

@Jay12375

I believe the standard price for 3GB is £10pm so sounds like you already have a discounted price. Could that discount be about to end though?

@wendey That will probably be down to your minimum term ending and no one here can offer you any deals, the forum is customer to customer support so you will have to call Sky to negotiate a new deal.

@wendey

Bills go up for one of two reasons unless you've made changes to your subscription

  1. the annual price increase which is in April for UK customers and already viewable on future bills or
  2. If your discounts have ended or are ending soon whereby the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Remember Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.
