Being over charged

I have changed my mobile and previously had a sim only plan. I seem to be getting charged for the sim as well as my new handset deal

Sounds correct unless you cancelled the sim only?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

If you were a sim only customer and ordered a phone then you will be charged for both unless you cancelled the sim and you can only do this if you have had it for 12 months or more.
