Back order

I ordered a Mac book 13 pro on the 28/11/24 went through all the hard searches and was told would be 1/2 weeks for delivery. Called after a week was told it would be a week called again Sunday to be told they have no idea when they are getting them back in and I would have to do a whole new bar search in order to get the same product but in  different colour for next day delivery then to be put through to someone else to say they would delivery on 12/11/24 only to check and  no update still saying on back order, this is for Christmas and I'm shocked at how sky can quickly dontour credit check and sign up up but now nothing, I've Berber used sky before and I'm so disappointed

Hi @LM26  if an item is on back order there is nothing you can other than keep any eye on your order status for updates. Phoning won't be much use as sales people often say things that aren't necessarily true just to get unhappy customers off the phone. If you can find it in stock elsewhere (but be aware if sky are having issues with stock then others may be too) you could cancel the order by calling sky. If you don't want to do that then all you can do is wait.

It's just really annoying as if they would have said on back order no deleivery date i wouldn't of ordered it  it as they said 1-2 weeks I did and I'm more annoyed I have a hard search but looks like I won't get my item before Xmas so will need to get from elsewhere.
