iPhone 17 plus bin waiting over 5 weeks for delivery

Anyone that has the text on the 21st regarding delivery on the 1st had any sort of update ?. Mine has missed the due date and still no update 17 pro max silver 256gb

had 2x 17 pro delivered within a week but the pro max has been nearly 5 weeks now

I have just come off the phone with sky and the call handler reported that apparently there was a large shipment of iPhone 17pro max's that have ended up in the sea...

do not know if there is full truth in this, call handler did also report that I was sent the message about the phone arriving by the 1st of November as a mistake and that I shouldn't have had the message and also tried to say that I had not had the message however I had read out the message to the call handler on 4 occasions. 
it's an absolute shambles, I do not know when or if my phone will ever arrive I'm not optimistic and patience has worn thin.

If the order is for a latest model iPhone, delays are always likely due to the usual supply and demand issues faced by Apple. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

After credit checks have been completed the most up to date information on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Same I've been waiting 2 weeks orderd iPhone 17 pro max cosmic orange on the 16/10. When i spoke to sky last week they said to expect delivery by the 15th of November so that's all I have to go in atm

I ordered the iPhone 17 pro max silver on the  14th September and still not here. They sent the iPhone 16 in error .. absolute shambles .. said my 17 would arrive today.. not here no updates.

I'm waiting for the same phone, ordered on the 3rd Oct. Received same message on the 21st, but no delivery and no further update 🤷‍♀️

Hi yes I got that txt aswell. No phone has arrived. I called Saturday to find out what's happening and do you know what I was told. "Madam the iPhones were recently drowned in Peru last week." That's why there is a delay. 

I have only ever had good experiences with sky and there customer service aswell but I'm really disappointed, and have put a complaint over the 17 pro max situation.

Ordered on the 12th been waiting a month and a bit now for iPhone 17 Pro Max. Is anyone having this issue where the tracker for order is saying "Your order is on its way" but when you go on the product is saying In progress?

Ok a few things are confusing me. 
1st this so called shipment of iPhones that was lost. I have had a little look into it and as far as I can tell it's fake. Yes there was a cargo ship accident in the port of Peru, but there's nothing to confirm that it was involving smart phones. Also this happened the start of August, not last week. So why sky is using this excuse I do not know. 
2nd for some Strange reason every time i comment on this. About an hour later I get a missed call from a number if looked up turns out to be a fake sky number.

Christ, what a shambles. They told me they didn't know when my 17 pro max silver would be in stock and said if I wanted to, the Blue 1TB version would be at mine for next weekend at the latest. Taking bets on if it turnes up or not now! Absolute joke
