@PandJ2020 Yes there is clearly a lot more demand than anticipated by Apple. This explains the 4 week lead times which most of us aren't querying or moaning about.
What it doesn't explain is why Sky have already delivered to some people that ordered 1-2 weeks after the rest of us, and we are still waiting for just the suggestion of an eta or even if the order has been acknowledged. I ordered on the 15th so I don't expect my phone (same config) to be delivered before someone that ordered on the 12th. But +3 weeks later, I still can't track anything because my account says 'you don't have any active orders'
Twice I have contacted customer service who just read from a standard script that promises delivery within 3-5 days. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking I'd have a lot more faith in Sky if they just told the truth, however long the delay is at least we would have an idea and not feel the need to keep ringing them when their promised '3-5 days' doesn't happen and someone else posts that they received the same phone within 2 weeks of ordering.
