Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

I cannot believe the experience ive had with sky. 
genuinely thought it might be a prank call it's so bad. 

I ordered 26/09 pro max blue 256gb

got email on 15/10 to say it will be delivered by 29/10

I then noticed it had disappeared from my orders but nobody informed me of anything so I called them.

agent who was absolutely clueless told me my order is down as undelivered and will have to be reordered and go back to the end of the queue. I laughed and said how can that be right? Complete silence and I had to check he was still there. 
he then put me on hold and while on hold I got an outbound call from him to say I hung up, I said I'm on hold on other line. 
4 times he put me on hold and then outbound me again while on hold. 
he had no idea what he was doing.

anybody got a complaint email address they might actually respond to. Genuinely shocked by the experience with sky. I'm still none the wiser other than order again almost 4 weeks I got he process

Alright i'm not usually one to complain here but now i'm getting worried. 

I'm seeing people say the order is dropping off their accounts, some of you who ordered on the 12th STILL have no update, and then you've got people who ordered early october already getting their phones. 

This whole thing has been handled really poorly and the communication from Sky is seriously lacking. 

To make a point - i'm not so bothered if the phone takes ages to arrive; this stock issue is affecting everyone. First world problem lol. But they're not saying anything and that's what's bothering me.

only stuck with these guys because they're the only ones I can pay just for the phone and then use my own sim with vodafone, but after this (and the same scenario with the 15 Pro Max) i'm 100% not using them again once this is paid off.

Spoke to a completely useless chat person just now who couldn't even tell me if I'd receive my order by Christmas. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of us were waiting until 2026. Completely taken the excitement away. I just want the phone here so I can be done with the waiting. What's the point of getting a new phone if you don't even get to enjoy it while it's new! The iPhone 20 will be out by the time we get the 17!

I ordered the iPhone 17 pro max on the 24/09/25, it did say 4 week wait when I ordered but I have since received no updates. Is there an estimated time frame I will receive this phone? I am in Scotland if this helps.

As we’re customers here we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. After credit checks have been completed the most up to date information on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

iPhone 17:… Any orders for an iPhone 17 are likely to be delayed due to the usual supply and demand issues faced by Apple. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

Same thing really, except I ordered on Pre-order day instead of the 20th, eventually spoke to support as I got no updates, and they told me they needed to cancel and redo my order because of some sort of technical issue. However when this was done, I got the phone within a week or so. It ended up running another credit check though which wasn't very great.

I'm having the same experience as all of you guys, ordered a 17 pro max 256gb blue on the 20th September and have had 0 updates at all. Got told between the 14th-21st delivery but still heard nothing. This is an absolute joke

 Silver 17 Pro Max showing 2-3 weeks wait now so hopefully we should get some sort of update this week or next week

@ubzino - Hopefully other orders get fulfilled soon. Always happens every year. Just a pity some orders are being canceled if orders placed late September.
