Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

The exact same thing happened to me twice! I ordered a 17PM on 12th of September and the order was cancelled on launch day due to a "system error".

I reordered on the 21st of September and today I received another cancellation after 4 weeks of waiting and receiving an email last week that it would be delivered by 12th November. I received a call from an adviser earlier saying that there was another system error but they could put a brand new order for me at the back of the queue - no thanks!! Run from Sky they've really messed this up. If I had just ordered from another provider at the first cancellation I'd likely have my phone  - you live and learn!

I rang them, was waiting to speak to customer care for 55minutes and after the advisor answered and I explained to her the situation about the order cancellation that I did not ask for nor do I know the reason why, she told me to wait so she can speak to the "higher up team" about the reason why, was on hold for another 10minutes for her to tell me they had an Error in the system due to all the back orders. I asked her should I wait for my refund and place the order again then or what? She said she can put my order through for me again but I will be waiting a further 4+weeks before any news of delivery of the device. At this point this is ridiculous but I went ahead with it anyway.. 😳 hopefully it could get here by Christmas... lol

I'm Northern Ireland and I ordered my iPhone 17 lavender on the 2nd October, still haven't received even as much as an update! Hopefully will get some updates soon, was told on the phone it would be today or tomorrow but don't think it's looking likely

Talking about the cancellation by Sky

Model - i17 pro max 256 gb 

based in Ireland 

first I pre-ordered on 18 September expected delivery was 26 sept 

but nothing received so after coordinating with them for couple of days 

Sky cancelled my order on 29th sept

saying system error in booking and reordered on same day 

since then till date it's on back order and last week received mail saying will be delivered by 29 th Oct 

but still no update on delivery 

I'm just gone wait till 29th and then cancel and go with another provider 

Ridiculous service by sky and the customer service agents don't have any proper knowledge about anything except saying u need to wait sorry for that

apart from this fake advertising on site saying pay 0 € now and get the phone when booked asked for 396€ upfront 

total disappointment
