My weekly update after speaking with a Sky Advisor. 

 

iPhone 17PM 256GB Silver, ordered 29th September. Estimated delivery time 2-3 week, so currently on week 3 with zero updates on the account (still in progress, on back order). 

 

I've been told on separate occasions:

  • "4 weeks, meaning around 27th October"
  • "4 weeks, so end of October, early November"
  • "Rest assured, fulfilling your order is our top priority"
  • "The estimated delivery time is clearly stated as more than 4 weeks" - This is AFTER I ordered. 
  • "Likely in late October to early November, but may ship sooner since stock appears available"

Today's message took away all dates and said: 

 

"Do not worry the Status of the device is showing as In Progress, and once the device gets dispatched from Sky you will be notified with tracking details and delivery date be rest assured"...

 

I accept that I'll be waiting 4 weeks (27th October) but after reading nearly 234 pages of unhappy customers I'm not holding my breath.... 

 

Will update if/when I get any more!

Yes, any phone purchased by Sky is unlocked to all network providers.

i ordered the iphone 17pm silver on the 21st of september and still also waiting, i've called many times and also been told the end of october to early november which panics me a lot as i go away the start of november. everytime ive called ive been told a different story every time so i have given up and just praying the phone arrives soon im now on 4 weeks + 1 day wait and had no email from dpd just nothing.

[Removed] if the dates are constantly being updated then are they saying stock isn't being delivered as promised by Apple? I can appreciated we need to be patient but people are constantly being told exact and specific dates of arrival and then they are changing them or not withholding the deal of it being delivered. There should be no reason they make up random dates if they know stock isn't arriving. 

2nd question if anyone can help.., if the phone is not arriving when promised do we still need to pay that months contracted payment? Why am I paying for a phone I don't yet have?

Can anyone help, 

 

I ordered the Iphone 17 Pro Max on pre order day, everything accepted and my order just shows as awaiting dispatch. 

Ive spoken to customer service a few times who says its been accepted and waiting dispatch from the wearhouse. 

 

Last week i spoke to someone via the online chat saying i should recieve an email on friday just gone with an update, but as i thought absolutely nothing. 

 

Is anyone else in the same boat ? 

Is there anything i can do at all excewpt cancel the order ? 

 

I dont mind waiting but its the lack of information that is frustrating as i get different answers from everonye i speak to, and note that the same phone is now avalible with a delivery estimate of 2-3 weeks.

Just an update guys to my post days ago and finally after 37 days I received my order IPhone 17 Pro Max 256gb Silver today @ 13:30pm. What a wait😩. Order place 13/09/25 location Dublin IRL. Hope all of you will get your order soon 🙏 Thanks for all the advice and updates here . Cheers

Hi @RCS16  until sky get more stock. No one here has access to stock levels at sky. Your order status in your account is the most up to date information available.
