New iPhone 17 Pro Max - Hello, anybody there. . .

Hi

 

so I ordered an iPhone 17Pro max on the first day of pre-order. 
Had a text last week saying it will be here 26th September. Still waiting...

My account has no updates. Any advice please?

So I find up to complain today about the sky rep on the phone on Friday who called me which is very important guy called ME. They called to tell me my phone was going to be delivered today that Friday I knew this was never gonna happen.  Unfortunately for the sky rep all causes are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.  So today I complained and gave them the date and the time of the call and explained that sky called. ME not me them to tell me my phone would definitely be delivered today.  I do not have my phone and it is four days later.

 

I said to the guy on the phone I'm who I was making the complaint with. I'm not complaining about delivery of this phone. I can wait. I'm an adult. I'm a grown-up but I don't believe your reps should lie to people and tell them their phone is going to be delivered today when it clearly isn't I knew it never would be.

 

So just for clarity when sky called me to tell me my phone will be delivered today he used words like "guarantee I guarantee you will have a friend this afternoon by 7 pm. DPD have your phone our systems are down we cannot provide a tracking number."

 

Now this rep is going to be royally reprimanded because there's no way shape or form in the 21st-century we should be lied to you know Wimber intelligent people and I can tan. I can handle bad news. I just would rather have the truth and not be lied to and this rep will learn the hard way.

I preordered 1:03 on the 12th pro max orange 256 . Still heard nothing . Tried contacting them but they just kept lying oh youl defo receive today , oh defo in 24 hours. Oh defo 48 . Oh defo 26th . Gave up on the end ordered from Argos coming tomorow.. try Argos at 2am that's how I got lucky. Sky tell me they can't cancel so I have to wait for it to arrive and refuse delivery which our local dpd man told us we are not allowed to do so I will have to except and return it

You asked the same on Friday. I gave the same reply then too.

 

As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

 

If you've ordered a iPhone 17 model expect extra delays.

UPDATE:

Got a notification from DPD with tracking number and that they are expecting my parcel. Nothing else is shown in MySky app.

They won't give me a date, just said wait out and when it turns up, return it if I don't want it. I want the phone, just don't to be tied to a contract with Sky if this is how they treat customers.

I have asked to cancel again, still saying it's too far in the fulfilment process . Still says awaiting dispatch like it has from day one. No updates whatsoever it's rediculous
