My Samsung Galaxy A24 5G phone was updated to Android 15 recently and everything seemed to be working fine but yesterday I went to visit my daughter and tried to call her when I was close by.
I thought I just had no signal but later discovered there was no connections at all, mobile or WiFi.
My first attempt to solve this was to restart the phone but the side button would not power down the phone on long press and I kept getting the Gemini Assistant popping up.
Eventually I went to the Quick Panel and suspecting the phone had somehow got into Flight mode I pressed the Flight mode and got flight ✈️ symbol, pressed Flight again and mobile/WiFi signals magically reappeared. Problem one solved.
I then went to the setup and discovered the upgrade has decided to reprogram my side buttons where power button brought up Gemini and had to use volume down and side button for power. Reset it back to original configuration and seems happy now.
