Added Magic Keyboard accessory as suggested and it’s incompatible
I took out a new contract on an Apple IPad Air 13" (M4) 2026 as a means to manage my business with and I intended to have a Magic Keyboard with it to make it easier to work with.
so as I chose my iPad and added a snazzy new fast charging plug to the contract from the list of accessories, I spotted the Magic Keyboard as an addition too and naturally added it, as I had already decided I wanted one to go with my new iPad.
However, when it arrived today, I soon discovered (and was very unhappy about- being a new mobile customer) that it's an incompatible device. I was offered and obviously chose the Magic Keyboard that is for the iPad Pro models, not the iPad Air models. Why would that even be a suggestion as an accessory when it's not compatible? Bearing in mind it was the only Magic Keyboard there to select. So I assumed it would be the correct one as there is very limited information provided about the product.
So I have arranged a return of the device but I'd still like the version that works with my iPad. Do I have to go through the rigmarole of setting up an entirely new contract for the correct device? And can any good will gestures be made as an offering due to them inconveniencing me by offering me a product I can't even use?

Hi @Patman7 you aren't talking to sky CS here. I doubt any good will gesture will be made for you ordering something that wasn't compatible with your iPad but there is nothing stopping you from phoning and asking. Not sure why you would need to set up another account ? If Sky only sell one Magic Keyboard and it's not the one you want then you will need to look elsewhere for the one you want.
I AM NOT A SKY EMPLOYEE
