Activating sim card

I already have a plan with sky i ordered a new phone and new sim.

now my old sim nor my new sim is working.

i have tried to activate my sim card choosing replacement option i have being told it was done but mightvtake couple of hours. Yet still tells me to activate my sim on my account.

i need to be able to use my old phonevat least as i am at uni.

please help me with this issue.

You've ordered a new dataplan and this will have a new phone number.

 

However, you have used the new SIM to replace your existing plan - which would leave the new dataplan unactivated (and now you don't have to SIM to activate against it)

 

You'll have to wait until the replacement has activated and use the new SIM in your phone - but it will be your existing dataplan and number.

 

You cannot (easily) keep your number with the new dataplan.
