Activating new sim card

I have recently upgraded my phone with Sky. 

 

I had a Iphone 12 pro max with sky which was out of contract so was just paying the monthly for the sim and using my piggybank data. 

 

I now have the Iphone 16 pro max and opted for the half price sim deal and went for a 25gb sim. I have recieved the phone and sim. Put the new sim in which has the same phone number on it. But I cannot activate my new 25gb sim within the app? The 12 pro max still has my old sim in and does not recieve data. But in my app it still shows as if I have a 2gb sim in and not a 25gb sim?

This will have happened if for whatever reason the phone and the sim has been ordered on a different account so call Sky on 150 as they will help you to identify what account it is on and they will also activate the sim for you which will mean that you will now be paying for a second sim.
