100MB Data Plan

Hi. I'm just looking at the new phone details on Sky Mobile. I'm trying to find out if the 100MB data plan for £0. Does anyone know if that's every month for the length of the contract? Any info appreciated.

Thank you

Jon

Hi @Jonsky36  it will be for 12 months then they start charging for it. Be aware 100mb is a very small amount of data and is intended to be topped up from an account piggybank.

It's 100MB and not 100GB as some seem to confuse.

Unless you are an extremely low data user or have a large piggybank then it's not the plan for you...

Re: 100MB Data Plan

As afr as I understand from what I was told by the SKY customer care personnel in Nov 2025, 100Mb plan has unlimited period of up to 80 (yes, eighty) years of unlimited minutes and texts to any UK network and 100mb data everymonth. This Sim can be used for free mins and texts even if the phone contract is over. I have called 2 different folks and both answered similar. That means this can be used as a free landline with no linerental for unlimited period for small businesses. Please correct me if wrong.

@TeeK I would think that whoever you spoke to has just pulled that figure out of the air, no provider anywhere would state such a length of time for a service.

Now as for the point about small business use, we'll that's simply not allowed on Sky mobile, it is a personal use only service and if Sky suspect you're using it for business they can suspend or cancel your service.

4.3. Your use of ‘unlimited’, ‘free’ or ‘no extra charge’ services provided as part of the Sky Mobile services (such as inclusive calls, texts or data),and the use by anyone you allow to use your Sky Mobile services, should not exceed that reasonably expected of a reasonable person using the Sky Mobile services for personal purpose as a consumer.

If it does we may:

a) suspend your Sky Mobile services until we have established whether your use is in

accordance with these conditions and if it is not end your contract under condition

8.8 (if we establish that your use is in accordance with these Conditions we will

remove the suspension and give you a pro-rata refund of any monthly charges for the

period of suspension); and/or

b) charge you Sky’s standard rates as published in our latest tariff guide for any calls, texts or data services exceeding those reasonably expected of a person using Sky

Mobile services for personal purposes as a consumer.
