excessive adverts on sky go

I want to know if there is a way to toggle adverts off on sky go please?
We pay a ridiculously high price for our Sky bill and I wouldn't expect to have the excessive amount of adverts that we do on Sky Go.
You have to watch 1:30 of adverts at the start of every programme, and even if you immediately want to skip to part way through, you're forced to endure 3 entire minutes of adverts once again.

I would understand one 10 second advert or even two every so often, however this is awful. If the adverts cannot be toggled off, I sincerely hope that Sky will consider this for their customers.

Hi,

I agree ..far too many adverts. However, its Sky's bread and butter so they will no way turn them off. If anything it will get worse.

Most streaming services sell you the service initially without adds and then slowly introduce new tiers of payment. What you initially signed up for becomes the basic package with ads and then you have to pay more to not get ads. Its terrible for the consumer.

Saying that, If I was runnig Sky and adverts where my bread and bnutter I'd probbaly do the same. Its business.

I got a useless "badge" for answering that message. What I should get is payment for filling in for the lack of SKY agents available to answer users queries. So hard these days to actually speak to someone when you are stuck.

True, but streaming services running multi-billion annual losses aren't great for the investors and stockholders who are the reason they exist in the first place.
