Yeah I've got nowhere trying to get it sorted on the Xbox app
i joined the insider programme and reported it- heard nothing back, tried the live chat for Sky- no help whatsoever. They had 1st line fixed like "reset the Sky box" even though 100% it wasn't going to change anything
soooooooooo, I'm at a total loss here at this point

I had this exact problem with the Sky Go App on my XBOX Series S.
SOLUTION:
Go to Settings
Go to General
Go to TV & Display options
Go to Advanced
Go to Video Modes
Check Allow 50Hz
Check Allow 24Hz
This should solve the stutter when watching content on the Sky Go App on XBOX

Have had this setting switched on all the time but it doesn't seem to do anything because the sky go app isn't playing at 50hz. You can check it by seeing the refresh rate the tv is playing at.

I'm having this problem too, as well as a kind of pixelated glaze that is really annoying and noticeable (on sports only). I've only really noticed it since Feb. this year though. Live sports is terrible to watch now.

Hi all, I had this issue. And changed the setting from 1080p to 720 and it stopped lagging / going slow.
It now works fine
Hope this helps

Tried changing to 720p but doesn't seem to do anything for me - the stutter seems extra noticeable today on both the f1 and the cricket

Has anyone found any sort of fix? Have SkyGo for my xbox series x and use it to watch sports when away from home, but it's unwatchable with the frame rate issue. I have tried all fixes in this thread but no luck.
Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!

Try the following:
(Xbox) Settings
General
TV & display options
Advanced
Video Modes
Variable refresh rate -> set to Gaming Only
As someone posted before, ensure Allow 50Hz and Allow 24Hz are also checked

Thanks. That still gives me 60Hz on Sky Go on the XBox, as opposed to the BBC iPlayer that correctly switches to 50Hz.
