Why are no BBC programmes shown on Sky Go App's TV Guide?

No BBC programmes are shown on Sky Go App's TV Guide. With Sky's advice that the older Sky+ app, which does show the BBC programmes, is soon to be switched off. That will mean I have no way of remotely setting a BBC programme to record. It cannot be a rights issue, as all of the BBC channels, both TV and Radio are available on Sky. It would be a good idea for Sky to correct this prior to deprecating the Sky+ App.

When in the TV Guide at the top of it make sure "Record to Sky box" is selected then you will see all the channels.

@R.W+Laidlaw

Note that the Go EPG will not display BBC channels when the app device is 'away from home' (with a Sky+ / Sky Q subscription) or at any time with a Sky Glass / Stream subscription.

This is the choice of the BBC and is intended by them to drive usage into iPlayer and so justify License Fee spending on that platform: it's not something which Sky has any control over.

To be clear it does show the BBC channels when away from home and when in Record to Sky box mode so remote recordings can be set,

To set Recordings from the appropriate location, yes, but not in the EPG channel list for viewing.

 Which is what the OP asked about as @R.W+Laidlaw was using the Sky+ app to remotely set such recordings:

I have no way of remotely setting a BBC programme

I assume this applies to Skystream? And this is why I can't see any BBC on my TV Guide? Is there any way of going this please?

@Suzan2

A Stream puck (in the UK) should always list BBC channels in its EPG.  Unplugging it from the mains connection is the first thing to try.

Sky Go used by a Stream subscriber will not have any BBC channels.
