We have been told I can watch sky through my Xbox as we have sky go extra. For some reason it's not working. Can anyone help.
engineer is not coming for three weeks to install the dish so I really need to get this sorted.

You also need the monthly Sky Q Multiscreen subscription to view on any device with `Sky Go

Oh really the sky man said I needed sky go extra to watch through my Xbox.

Hi. It just brings up an error code.
could it be that my new subscription hasn't started as of yet but then surely the sky man would of said that. He told me I could use Xbox till the installer comes out to fit our dish.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou can use Sky Go whilst you are awaiting installation but I'm not sure if that includes a console so does it work if you install the app on a phone or tablet as you wouldn't need Sky Go Extra for either of these.

Phone works but they actually told me I can watch it through my Xbox whilst I'm waiting for the installer to come out.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
