SkyGo External Display - Allow it with multiroom subscription.

I have just bought AR glasses, i would love to watch coming Euros on it while out and about.

But these restrictions on external display block this, which is pretty big market to cut out.

Currently can have 4 extra boxes on single sub, so would make no difference to allow one of these to be used on mobile as external.

This would also open up big market for sky on people who have glasses and just one tv.

Crazy that the new owners of sky have not seen the business opportunity with this especially given the traditional sky base is dying and there's a need for innovation to grab gen z

The Comcast Corporation, like Sky Group, has always been a company that puts its branding on its own hardware.

And how's that working out for them? I like sky, but it's future is uncertain.

A multi-billion dollar write-down followed by successive years of losses would suggest not as well as they would like.  In hindsight, bidding top dollar to outprice Disney just before a global pandemic and then a European war probably wasn't ideal timing.

Certainly: it's still at heart a satellite television company which has been overtaken by the streaming era, and Comcast has recently chosen to divest the Sky operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which leaves UK, RoI and Italy on board.
