Sky go switches off

I'm trying to install sky go extra on my samsung Galaxy book 4 edge, app has been installed a few times now as per their advise, the app opens for around  a minute then swtiches off before I get to the log in screen, spoke to sky again today all the customer service people were great until I got put through to the top of the technical team, his view was there is an issue with the app and give it 24/48 hours and itll be fine, no offers to help me go through all the settings, felt like he just wanted to get rid of me asap, I put the app on my 15 year old lappy, strange it worked , (very very  slow I must add) and works fine on my phone, think the guy was fobbing me off.  so any ideas to why it will not open? TIA

Are you running anything that could be messing withy it like a VPN or Samsung Dex ?

Hi as far as im aware there are none of these on the laptop, its only 2 months old. unless it was there from new

It appears that the new laptop is running a processor called snapdragon which is not compatable with the sky go app. Thanks  for your help
