Sky go not showing recordings selection

I have a new tablet and have connected to my Sky Q but where you normally see the recordings selection at bottom of the screen, it is not there. It is still available on other devices but not on the new tablet even though you can still watch Sky channels and even set to record a program via Sky go. I believe this has been an issue before but even after resetting everything I am still not able to resolve.

You can watch programs and set recordings without the app being connected to your Sky Q box.

 

So you have rebooted your Sky Q box and rebooted your broadband router ?

Hi, yes I have rebooted sky box and the router. Haven't had an issue before as normally when you watch a programme on sky go, the device shows in manage devices but this one doesn't.
