Sky go incredibly slow

Downloaded sky go on PS5 and it's impossible to stream or catch up. When the show runs it's perfect but the adds take up to 5 minutes per one to load and then will pause halfway through and after another few minutes will play another and the cycle repeats. It's taking me a good 20 minutes for the show to finally play and then the ads in between do the same again. Yes I've tried deleting and re-downloading to no avail it's just ridiculous.
