My sky go app is not working on my apple device it keeps saying 'because of a technical issue, you cannot watch this channel' I can not login in to sky go on my iphone 13. all my other devices work fine with sky go. I have tried many different approaches i.e restart phone, delete app reinstall app and keeping both device and app to latest update. it has been like this for months.
Please advise and help with this issue

Try signing out of the app then reboot your device and the sign back into the app.
Try linking your Sky ID to your account, help on doing this can be found here:

I have already tried both, still not working. I have even tried to remove the phone off the manage device list and tried signing back in still same error.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

It has become a joke. It hasn't worked on my apple devices for 3 months. I phoned to seek help and sky told me that there was an issue with their app not working with newer IOS devices and the issue is with their app developers.
Still not working. IOS is clearly far mor sophisticated than sky. We've been a customer for 25 years and I'm considering cancelling as there are other things to spend £110 a month on. Very poor service provision.

I have the same issue. Works on one iPad and doesn't work on phone and other ipad. Everything I've tried doesn't work, deleting, turning off blah blah blah nothing works

I have started having the same issue after the latest IOS update!!! Tried everything possible and suggested and still it's not working.
has anyone been able to acutally fix the issue?

Sky Go remains unavailable and it has been 5 months now and sky told me the app developers were working on it and it but they didn't know how long it would be. I haven't seen it advertised in the media for a while and sky are driving their new streaming platform hard (sky glass streaming). I think sky go is a thing of the past.
