Sky Witness on Sky Go

Hi. Whenever I try to watch Sky Witness on the Sky Go app it says "Sorry, somethjng went wrong. To watch this content, please upgrade your subscription." However I have the Sky Entertainment pack, which includes Sky Witness and I can watch all the programs straight from my SkyQ box, just not on Sky Go.

I can watch live Sky Witness on Sky Go, but can't watch on demand... for example Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

If these episodes are part of Sky Boxsets then you would need to upgrade the Entertainment package, which is long discontinued, to the Sky Signature ones as this gives access to boxset content.

@caesarome  Thanks for your reply. I don't think it's part of Sky's box sets, as it's showing as On Demand via Sky Witness.

 

Does Sky Entertainment no longer exist? Maybe that's the issue then...

On Demand is formed of two parts:

 

Catchup which you can view via the Entertainment package

Boxsets which you need the Sky Signature package to access it.

@caesarome Thank you. Does that only apply to watching via Sky Go? As I can watch / download them via my SkyQ box - it's purely when I try to watch on the Sky Go app on my phone / laptop that I get the message.

To download to the app you do need Sky Go Extra which I presume is why you are seeing this error. So to see if this is the case instead of trying to download can you see if you can stream an episode instead, just press the play button against it,

If you go to the catchup page on the homepage can you stream anything from here ?

 

My guess is as I said previously what you are trying to view is part of Sky Boxsets which the Entertainment package doesn't give you access to.
