Sky Go error - CONNECTING YOUR APPLICATION read ECONNRESET

I'm not able to access Sky Go. I've installed the app but get 2 error messages: 

 

  • CONNECTING YOUR APPLICATION We are having problems connecting the application. Please make sure taht you are connected to the internet and try again
  • CONNECTING YOUR APPLICATION read ECONNRESET

I've uninstalled, deleted cookies + cache, restarted and reinstalled numerous times in the last few days and still get the same problem. I don't believe this is a firewall issue. I'm using a Windows 11. App works fine on iPhone and a Windows tablet I have.

 

Can you please assist?

First, ensure that your network connection is stable and functioning properly. Sometimes, network issues can cause the “ECONNRESET” error. Many users have pointed towards the “CiscoVideoGuard” service as the culprit for Sky Go issues. This service is a digital encryption (DRM) component bundled with Sky’s streamer app to prevent piracy.
