I was travelling recently, and spent some time downloading some recordings from Sky and some new things to watch.
I was going abroad and know from Netflix about not connecting to the internet whilst away (as it can delete things/it knows you're abroad even if things are downloaded). Everything appeared to download ok at home, and I then turned airplane mode on before leaving. I came to try and watch things on Sky on the plane (i.e. the downloads) and it gave an error message along the lines of "reconnect to the internet, you don't need to stay connected to watch" and I think the error code was 3-2. Nothing I had downloaded would play.
Given I was away I couldn't reconnect to the internet and resolve this do this, but how do I resolve this/prevent this in future?
I also had this happen about a month ago when going away in the UK, but given I was in the UK I connected my iPad to my phone/the internet and then it worked. When flying or abroad this doesn't work...!
