Sky Go - PC - buffering

Sky Go constantly buffers when used on my PC to watch live sport.

It is getting beyond infuriating now.

Mostly infuriating, because it has never buffered once when the feed switches to adverts. Maybe a co-incidence? But given there are adverts (when streaming live golf) every 10 minutes or so, which last for 10 minutes themselves, you'd imagine the same thing to happen.

Honestly, the service is really begining to get me down. It seems to be scrimping on all the bits that it used to be good at, and now whenever you try to get some support from Sky, blame is chucked elsewhere and stated as outside of Sky's control (must be the network or computer).

For further info:
my internet is 900 down, 300 up

my wifi is delivered by multiple Unifi U6 Pro access points, which are ethernet cabled via cat 6 back to the primary router

The PC which I use Sky Go on is ethernet cabled back to the router via cat6

I can stream all other services (Netflix, Prime, Disney), uninterupted, with no degredation

I work from home, some devices are wifi, some ethernet - no service issues.

I've also messed with QoS, DNS and wifi profiling to maximise / minimise the connectivity back to the PC with SkyGo - no change

To rule the above outThe same issue happens when using an alternative computer (for info: a Microsoft Surface Book 2 - i7, 16gb memory, Nvidia) with Sky Go installed - the service quality sucks as above.

Grrrr.
