Hi

Cannot access skygo on laptop works fine on phone on laptop constant error message 0xc0000045 tried all suggestions but the error still persists not great

Have you checked for any updates for your laptop from Microsoft ?

There appears to be some kind of 'permission' issue following a Microsoft Upgrade. I, like a number of users are getting a Oxc0000045 Error on Windows 11 PC, since yesterday's Microsoft upgrade.

I've tried reloading and checked security 'permissions' without success.

Any suggestions?

I seem to be having the same problem but worked befroe a reinstall so not sure what has happened checked sfc /scannow nothing there is a glitch in the sky matrix

Same here sky have been zero help

I just opened sky go on my windows laptop - it said it was updating.  After updating it closed automatically. Now when i try to open it I just get a black screen for about 5 seconds and then it closes again. Is it a faulty update?

have the same problem tried a few times to get it working uninstalled it and downloaded a new app from sky and it still does not work

When I try and load Sky Go today the 20th July 2026, I keep getting a Windows - Application error dialogue box with the words "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000045).

I have tried to reinstall several times but I keep getting the same message...

Ive contacted [email protected] to log an issue (with Error Code 0xc0000045). First response has suggested the predicted: reinstillation, check not using a VPN, sufficient space......ive written back to confirm this didnt remedy the problem.

They're looking into it again.

I have uninstalled it a few times and reinstalled from sky web site still not work. i have uninstalled the windows 11 update made no difference. it works on my gallaxy phone but not when i connect the phone to computer???????????????????????????
