Agree, the Mac App is dreadful. Can't sustain a quality stream, crashes all the time. iPad and iPhone versions are fine, just the Mac one.

i have super fast broad band and the sky go app away from mhome is so poor

If you are not a home then your super fast broadband connection isn't being used with the app so are you then on a mobile data one ?

I too  think it's awful...  Everytime I open the app, it checks for and always finds updates...  These once loaded only take you back to "checking for updates", so you have time to shave before you get to watch anything...  Then once you are watching, the picture quality is poor or drops out totally, despite the device I'm watching on being 2 m from the wifi box and my laptop showing 5 bars of signal...  I can only imagine they want Virgin Media to profit from their inability to offer a decent service for any amount of cash!
