Sky Go App wont install on my Mac

I click on the download. Once its done nothing happens. The app doesnt appear on the launchpad or downloads. If I go on finder it only shows me the Sky Go installer but not the app. I restarted my mac, deleted the installer and tried again. Nothing works. Can someone help me download it. I have a Macbook Air 2022 and its on the newest update 14.6.1. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the very same issue!! 
I've tried several different methods to download Sky Go but just keep getting the error 001 please try again screen 🤦🏻‍♂️ 
It would seem that this is an ongoing issue!

Really do need some help resolving this issue please
