Sky Go App without Multiview

Have frequently used the Sky Go app to set up recordings on our Sky Q box. Worked reliably. Recently dropped Multiview from our package when I renewed the contract. Everything we watched on the second set is available on Freeview.

Since then whenever I set a recording up using the Sky Go app it will only record the first episode of a series. It doesn't set series link even though I select record series when setting up the recording in the app. I have to remember to go and set series link next time I am in

on the Sky Q box.

Could  this be because we no longer have Multiview, or is it a bug in an update of the App?

Strange thing is I can still watch live TV through the Sky Go app. Which is one thing I would have thought would have gone when I dropped Multiview.

As you will see I have moved your post to the SKY GO group as I think the regulars here may be better to advise

 

AFAIK you should be able to set series link via SKY Go & this should work irrespective of having Multiscreen (note that is the name of add on for SKY Q)   or not

 

Without multiscreen you can watch live channels (but not BBC for which you should use iPlayer) but  cannot watch recordings via SKY Go

Whatever is happening it isn't because you have cancelled multiscreen as that is not required to set remote recordings.

 

So when you go to set a series via the app you do not get offered the series link option ?
