Sky Go won't let me download as it says I need to set a device PIN. Where can I do this? All of the help and links do not give me that option. When I go to Manage Device, I only have options to change the name or remove. Is it because I've not got Sky Go Extra?

You should be able to set up a pin for Sky Go here:
