SKY Go stuck on loading screen Macbook

I have a MacBook Air 2020 M1 chip with macOS Sonoma 14.4
SkyGo stopped working a while ago. When I load it up it gets to the blue play symbol and then just sits there and doesn't go any further. 

Seen a few people with the same issue but can't see any fixes - did what sky recommend deleting everything and starting aagin and this didn't help
