Sky Go worked perfectly well up until a few weeks ago on my Windows PC

I had to uninstall then reinstall and now get the error message:

Sky Go is not compatiable with Windows 6

Please upgrade to Windows 10, or later

I have Windows 11 and all updates are up to date

There are a few things to try:

Right click on the desktop Icon

Go into Properties, then Compatibilities, and uncheck Compatibility Mode and then Apply.

That got past the Windows 6 error and it doesn't now show this message, but Sky Go does not open and dissappears

Does the Windows user account you are running the installer in have local administrator rights?

If you are giving the app installer administrator credentials which belong to another account then it has a nasty habit of installing in the local profile for that other account and not the one currently in use.

Is there a way to solve this?  And how has it suddently reverted to this after working previously for years?

Temporarily giving the user account Administrator status may be a workaround.
