Remove someone from Sky Go

I have followed all of the steps recommended by Sky to remove someone using my Sky Go account. 

 

Have changed my password several times and removed their device, but obviously password etc are saved on their device and they are not asked for the new password, meaning they can keep using my account.

 

How do I fix this??

I have exactly the same issue. The 'manage apps' or 'authorisation' pages don't exist anymore. Changing the password does not work as I have already done that previously, it doesn't force a logout. If you don't have this feature and infrastructure in 2026 I seriously doubt your cyber security ability.

This does not work. There is no 'do you have apps?' Or 'manage your apps' section.

As you can see I do not work for Sky as this is a place where customers help each other.

I know, thank you. It clearly says you are not a Sky employee. We posted at the same time so I hadn't seen your response. My beef is with Sky!

No problem, I have fed this back to Sky in a private forum, so we will have to see what happens over the coming weeks.

Thanks for responding. I have tried this too but the option of selecting 'do you have apps' and 'manage apps' does not exist anywhere. It seems Sky needs to update their advice. Very frustrating it doesn't seem to be an easy fix!

Nothing ever is with Sky. Still I remain a customer many years later. It's good, when it's good, but when it's not it's awful. 
a private forum? I will be ringing them tomorrow as this is a security issue which they should easily be able to solve

Hi Hanrurn

2 hours on the phone to Sky. 6 or 7 agents. Technical team, Skygo team, retentions, loyalty. Blind transfers. Nobody could solve it. I eventually spoke to a lovely Scottish lady in the loyalty team who will speak to various departments tomorrow to see what they can do. She was empathetic and friendly - shame about the other 6. 
I'll update you when she gets back to me.

I have also spoken with Sky today. Went round in circles. Eventually told to reset my email for my Sky account, but the operator could not tell me whether that would force a log out for the device I want removed my account.

It doesn't. I've asked them to remove ALL devices so I can check it works. They said they removed them but I could still just open the app on my phone and tablet so obviously didn't work. Will let you know if I get a solution.
