PARENTAL PIN NOT REQUIRED
My husband and I are both nearing 70 we have no grandchildren yet and no children living here I've turned my parental control off yet some tv shows like (Game of Thrones) still request a PIN.
Now my Skgo on iPad is asking for pin on this device also saying
supscription required to download and its CHANNEL 4 ?..I'm downloading from ? Plus I'm getting lots of interference with channels lately and we are on fibre as well hasnot made any difference to our picture, speed or anything tbh? I have basic package NO SKYKIDS/NO SPORTS/ NO FILM CHANNELS etc but I still pay £120 per month which tbh I can't afford!!
ANYONE else had all this trouble
keep getting robot assistance need to talk to a real person, been a loyal customers of 40 years My area is SOUTH EAST ESSEX

That's as expected: the Broadcasting Code makes no exception for child-free households. 'Mandatory Daytime Protection' is, as its name suggests, non-negotiable.
For content such as GoT, it's the application of MDP which permits transmission before 21:00 - this simply wasn't possible only a few years ago.

I can't help with the issues you're facing but you should definitely complain if your service is faulty. You should also request a review of the pricing of your Sky products cos £120 seems very high for what you have. 40 years of loyalty deserves a significant discount imho. Good luck with everything
