There is an answer to this already, though it's buried in another thread, so here's the summary.
Sky's official position was posted by Samraj on 9 July in the "Sky Go officially dead on Mac from September" thread, relayed from the Sky Go team. In short: Sky Go for Mac will continue to be supported on macOS 27, Apple have confirmed Rosetta remains available throughout macOS 27, and provided Rosetta is installed the app is expected to keep working. One change to watch for is that unlike previous releases you may be prompted to install Rosetta the first time you open an Intel app.
Two things that answer aren't:
There is still no native Apple Silicon version of Sky Go, and none has been announced, so there is no date to give you. The app remains an Intel binary running under translation. Curiously the installer is a native Apple Silicon binary, as another member demonstrated with a screenshot. Only the app itself isn't.
Sky have also said they are aware of a separate issue affecting Sky Go on the macOS 27 beta and are working on an update.
So the honest answer to your question is that what Sky have committed to is the existing Intel app continuing to run on macOS 27 via Rosetta, not a new version. If you update in September and it either won't start or starts quitting part way through programmes, send the Apple crash report to [email protected]. That is the only route that puts real diagnostics in front of the app team.
