Installing Sky Go, Downloading Update LOOP

Hi all, 

I've seen threads like this before, but no answers have solved the issue. I'm on a Macbook Pro, currently on Sequoia OS, but have had this issue since as long as I can remember, way before any OS updates.

When I open the app it shows "Downloading Update" on a blue screen, then it opens a small dialogue page, where it first shows "Downlading Sky Go", which then turns into  "Installing Sky Go", then the loop starts again.

Sky team - please can you sort this out. It's actually ludicrous to be paying so much money and not be able to use the app, with 0 technical supoprt.
