I'm trying to link my sky tv to my phone so I can watch on my phone how do I do

I want to watch sky on my mobile phone but do not know how to link my phone to my sky box to watch on my phone

To link your phone to your Sky Q box you will need a multiscreen subscription but to actually watch TV and on demand content on your phone via the Sky Go app you do not need to do this as all you need to do is to login to the Sky Go app with your username and password.

Linking the app to your Sky Q box give you extra content like the ability to watch your recordings from the box back via the app and it also allows you to watch the live BBC channels which are not usually available via the app.

I tried to connect to sky on my mobile device via the Skygo app, but upon picking a programme it said  'To enjoy this service upgrade your subscription '

I already pay for the sky sports package, 

I thought there were no further charge.

Any advice

Have you tried linking yiour account as per this:

If this doesn't fix it then you will need to contact Sky about this.

I have sky via EE, no sky box, I don't recall ever receiving a sky ID

I can siflgn in with username & password,  why more hurdles, now a skyID, it's so complicated
