When I lived in Germany, I had Sky Q STB via cable and Sky Go was included free of charge with up to 5 devices, including Apple TV. So, I wanted to compare my experiences.
Here are a few things that I noticed:
I'm hoping that the Sky Stream box will provide a better experience, especially when it comes to frame rate. I'm curious to hear from others in the community about Sky's decision to limit the user experience for the Sky Go apps.
Thanks for reading!

There is no Sky Q app in the UK: there was once, but it got bundled into Sky Go back in 2019.
Sky in the UK has never followed Sky (Germany) in having a Q app for smart TVs.
Fully disabling PIN protection is not permitted under the terms of UK television regulation as expressed in the Broadcasting Code: https://www.ofcom.org.uk/consultations-and-statements/category-2/mandatory-daytime-protection
