Just wondered if anyone can help. When using my Sky ID to log into Sky Go app on iOS for some reason it will not see my Q box. In the app settings there is no toggle to select "Connect to Q box" so can't access my recordings or remote record.
yet if I use a friends Sky ID to log into Sky Go when I'm at home on same WiFi as Q box then the app does show the option in Sky Go settings to connect to Q box, which works and also shows my recordings and allows to remote record but only when on same WiFi it won't allow when on another network.
Why would the Sky Go app limit my own Sky ID to not see or be allowed to connect to the Q box when I have a multi room subscription. Just seems odd

It could be some sort of issue with your account so would you be happy if Sky's messaging team contact you sometime tomorrow via a private message bubble about this ?

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.
