Can’t use Sky Go on PS5

Was previously using Sky Go on my PS5 for years until a change of contract meant we were no longer eligible for the Sky Go Extra subscription - which we found out the hard way after we were booted out of the PS5 app. 

One phone call later and it was added back onto our bill. This was back in January, we've now paid for 2 months of it and it still doesn't work? Correct username and password... most up-to-date version of the app... just keeps presenting us with the "You can't use Sky Go on this device yet, please upgrade" error. But I've logged into our account and can see the £5 charge for Sky Go Extra in our bill.

 

Any idea how to make it work? Currently paying £5/month for absolutely nothing!

What TV service do you have, Sky Q or Sky Glass/Stream ?

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

When the chat bubble does appear tomorrow you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Hi there, I received the chat bubble but never had any message in it. It's been a few days now and the chat bubble is gone. Is there any chance you could escalate this again please?
